About this data

EPC data is sourced from the Energy Performance of Buildings Register, maintained by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government. An Energy Performance Certificate rates a property’s energy efficiency from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), with a numerical score from 1 to 100.

EPCs are required whenever a property is built, sold, or rented. A certificate is valid for 10 years from the date of issue. The data includes the property’s current rating, potential rating after improvements, property type, floor area, and more.
